What is the minimum cold bending radius for ACRYLITE® acrylic sheet products?

The minimum (i.e., tightest) radius to which this product can be cold formed is equal to the above value multiplied by the thickness of the sheet. Calculated below is the minimum cold forming radius for an ACRYLITE® extruded sheet with various thicknesses.

0.177”: Minimum Radius = 330 x 0.177 = 58.41 inches
0.236”: Minimum Radius = 330 x 0.236 = 77.88 inches
0.375”: Minimum Radius = 330 x 0.375 = 123.75 inches
0.500”: Minimum Radius = 330 x 0.500 = 165.00 inches

The practice of cold forming a sheet of material tighter than its recommended minimum radius is likely to result in cracking or crazing of the sheet, sometimes upon installation but most often after an extended period of time in service (months or years).
