ACRYLITE® GP – Colorless Limited (30 Year) Warranty
Roehm America LLC warrants to the purchaser that, for a period of 30 years from the date of original purchase, colorless, smooth ACRYLITE® cast (GP) acrylic sheet manufactured by Roehm America LLC or its affiliate(s) will not undergo a change in light transmission of more than 2-15%, when tested in accordance with the procedure specified in ASTM-D-1003*.
Roehm America LLC warrants to the purchaser that, for a period of 30 years from the date of original purchase, colorless, smooth ACRYLITE® cast (GP) acrylic sheet manufactured by Roehm America LLC or its affiliate(s) will not undergo a yellowness index increase greater than 4-8, when tested in accordance with the procedures specified in ASTM-D-1925.*
Not covered under this warranty are yellowing or loss of light transmission caused by dirt, scratches, breakage, or damage to the ACRYLITE® sheet. Also not covered under this warranty is yellowing caused by exposure to incompatible chemicals, sealants or gaskets, storage or use for significant periods at 20º F above ambient, or UV light above the naturally occurring levels or other high energy radiation sources.
THE FOREGOING IS THE SOLE WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO ACRYLITE® SHEET, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED.
The sole liability of Roehm America LLC and its affiliate(s) in respect of ACRYLITE® sheet shall be the replacement of any sheet found by Roehm America LLC not to meet this warranty or, at the option of Roehm America LLC, the refund of the purchase price therefore. Roehm America LLC shall have no liability under any circumstances for the cost of removal of defective sheet or the installation of replacement sheet, or for damage to property, or for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.
In order to make a claim under the foregoing warranty, write to Roehm America LLC, 299 Jefferson Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054-0677 or write or call your nearest authorized ACRYLITE® sheet dealer. If you write, be sure to include your address and a phone number where you may be reached. A Roehm America LLC representative will contact you to examine the sheet. At such examination, you will be required to present to the representative a sales slip or other evidence satisfactory to Roehm America LLC that you purchased the ACRYLITE® sheet within 30 years from the date of your letter or telephone call.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
