Conference Center Made Using ACRYLITE® Resist

The long white tubes were linked with each other by shorter clear tubes. Specially developed silicone gaskets provide stability for the structure. The 4,248 white tubes and 4,104 connecting tubes were made from durable, impact-resistant ACRYLITE® Resist. They were thermoformed to the final shape. ACRYLITE® tubes were manufactured and specially adapted for this project.

Selection Criteria

ACRYLITE® Resist has extremely high UV resistance. This material is able to conduct and diffuse artificial light, making the façade appear airy and almost weightless.
