Calculation for Aquariums

Calculate the estimated wall thickness of ACRYLITE® acrylic required for aquarium construction.

Assumptions

  1. Material is cast acrylic.
  2. All joints made with two-part polymerizable cement, ideally ACRIFIX® 2R 0190.
  3. Proper cementing techniques are utilized to achieve full strength joints.
  4. Bottom of tank is fully supported on firm horizontal foundation.
