ACRYLITE® Satinice optimum light diffusion

ACRYLITE® Satinice optimum light diffusing acrylic products take advantage of special particles that diffuse light passing through the sheet. These particles, distributed throughout the material, work to eliminate hot spots. Light will be diffused and transmitted differently depending on the grade. The right balance between light diffusion and transmission can soften the light in a room and enhance any environment.

ACRYLITE® Satinice optimum light diffusing acrylic has a frosted texture throughout the entire sheet, as well as the edges. It evenly diffuses light for enchanting backlit applications, indoors or outdoors, while maintaining high light transmission. Its textured surface hides fingerprints and scratches that occur from frequent public contact for extended service life and less maintenance. ACRYLITE® Satinice optimum light diffusing can be thermoformed for domed or shaped fixtures and will retain its frosted finish throughout the thermoforming process.

ACRYLITE® Satinice optimum light diffusion enhanced grade
portfolio (WD85X series) also offers grades with higher light transmission and greater diffusion. These are specifically designed for architectural and linear LED lighting applications. The enhanced grades offer the following superior properties:
