ACRYLITE® for Glazing

Glazing refers to the material that is used in the frame of a window or door. Glazing applications can be anything from exterior storm windows, interior insulating windows, storm door windows or sun and wind screens to name a few. Glazing is often done to promote energy savings as windows and doors are major culprits for heat loss in houses and other buildings. When using ACRYLITE® acrylic sheet for glazing applications, it offers many benefits over glass. These benefits include higher impact resistance, UV resistance, high light transmittance, sound reduction and its lightweight attribute.
