Do polycarbonate and acrylic sheets bend the same way?

Yes and no. The basics of line bending are applicable to both acrylic and polycarbonate. However, polycarbonate has a much higher bending temperature than acrylic. Typically, acrylic will bend around 290°F (depending on grade) while polycarbonate will not bend until a temperature of 355°F is reached.

As for cold bending, polycarbonate can be cold bent into a much tighter radius than acrylic as it is not as rigid as acrylic sheet.
