Is it possible to laser cut ACRYLITE® Optical mar-resistant acrylic sheet without harming the coating?

ACRYLITE® Optical mar-resistant acrylic sheet can be laser cut without doing harm to the coating. To achieve an acceptable cut, follow the recommendations given for laser cutting ACRYLITE® Premium (FF) acrylic sheet.

Laser machining operations generally machine through the entire thickness of a material therefore, operations requiring machining to fractional depths (such as countersinking) generally use conventional machining methods. However, if your laser has an adjustable head (Can you tilt it 45°?) it is possible to do cutting operations such as beveling.
