Acrylic sheet for flooring

We do not recommend using ACRYLITE® acrylic sheet for use as a flooring material where people will be walking or dancing on it. ACRYLITE® acrylic sheet is a "notch sensitive" material and can crack easily if an imperfection in an edge is stressed, which can in turn cause a running crack to form in the material. Panel size is also a factor in determining how much weight a sheet can carry and how much it will deflect. These values can be determined for a static (standing still) load, but not easily for a dynamic (moving, jumping etc.) load.
